چکیده

In vitro mutagenesis is an alternative to induce genetic variation in vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Jacks. ex Andrews), which characterized by low diversity. The objective of this study was somaclonal V. gamma radiation and detect it using inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) molecular markers. Shoots previously established were multiplied Murashige Skoog culture medium supplemented with 2 mg·L−1 BAP (6-benzylaminopurine). Explants irradiated different doses (0, 20, 40, 60, 80 100 Gy) 60Co rays. Survival percentage, number shoots per explant, shoot length, leaves shoot, lethal dose (LD50) recorded after 60 d culture. For analysis, ten used for each the donor plant as a control. Eight ISSR primers selected, 43 fragments obtained. percentage polymorphism (% P) estimated. A dendrogram based on Jaccard’s coefficient neighbor joining clustering method Results showed hormetic effect explants, promoting development at (20 inhibition death high (60–100 Gy). LD50 observed Gy. Primers UBC-808, UBC-836 UBC-840 highest % P, 42.6%, 34.7% 28.7%, respectively. Genetic distance analysis that treatments without irradiation presented variation. use rays during broaden diversity breeding.

Origins and Dispersal of Cultivated Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Jacks. [Orchidaceae])

Origins and Dispersal of Cultivated Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Jacks. [Orchidaceae]). Vanilla is a clonally propagated crop originating from Mesoamerica. Information regarding the circumstances under which vanilla cultivation began is incomplete. Presumably, the Totonac people of Papantla (north-central Veracruz, Mexico) were the earliest to cultivate vanilla; however, the oldest reports of va...

Metabolic changes in different developmental stages of Vanilla planifolia pods.

The metabolomic analysis of developing Vanilla planifolia green pods (between 3 and 8 months after pollination) was carried out by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and multivariate data analysis. Multivariate data analysis of the (1)H NMR spectra, such as principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least-squares-discriminant analysis (PLS-DA), showed a trend of separation of tho...

Biocontrol of Fusarium Wilt of Vanilla (vanilla Planifolia) Using Combined Inoculation of Trichoderma Sp. and Pseudomonas Sp

Fungal pathogens pose a major problem in causing reduction in yield of vanilla crop to considerable level. Fusarium oxysporum, was isolated from naturally infected vanilla plants and an attempt was made to minimize the damage caused by the pathogen using biocontrol agents Trichoderma harzianum, and Pseudomonas fluorescens isolated from soil. The combined inoculation of Trichoderma harzianum wit...

Comparison of Fungal Community in Black Pepper-Vanilla and Vanilla Monoculture Systems Associated with Vanilla Fusarium Wilt Disease

Long-term vanilla monocropping often results in the occurrence of vanilla Fusarium wilt disease, seriously affecting its production all over the world. In the present study, vanilla exhibited significantly less Fusarium wilt disease in the soil of a long-term continuously cropped black pepper orchard. The entire fungal communities of bulk and rhizosphere soils between the black pepper-vanilla s...
